Tinkers Bridge - Milton Keynes

A great place to live!

Woughton Neighbourhood Plan

The Woughton Neighbourhood Plan was officially "made" in 2017 and gives some legal constraints on the type of development allowed in Tinkers Bridge and other estates. Documentation here also covers the period up until it was officially "made", during which time some parts were updated, so please ensure you use the correct version.

Consultation

The plan has been out for consultation until 30 October 2016, and Nicky Johnson has been very active in assisting local residents fill in and submit responses. Generally, we are in favour of the plan, seeing it as a useful tool to control development on the estate, and retain the character of the estate. The next major stage for the plan is a review by an external assessor, to ensure it meets the various legal requirements of such plans.

Steering Group

Tinkers Bridge has direct input to the plan via a member on the Steering Group. Currently, that member is Kathy Higgins, and the last meeting was on 10 November.
